  • Second Base offers counselling informed by psychosexual frameworks. This work sits between medical care and traditional therapy, focusing on sexual pain, intimacy, nervous system responses and relational context.

  • No. Many people experience sexual pain, vaginismus or intimacy concerns without a formal diagnosis. Support is shaped around your lived experience, concerns and goals rather than labels.

  • Yes. I work with individuals and couples experiencing vaginismus, sexual pain and difficulties with penetration, as well as the emotional and relational impacts that can come with this.

  • Yes. I work with both individuals and couples navigating sexual pain, intimacy concerns, desire changes and relationship dynamics.

  • No. Psychosexual counselling does not replace medical, psychological or allied health care. This work can complement other forms of support and may be part of a broader care approach.

  • That’s completely okay. This work is paced and collaborative. You’re not expected to share more than feels manageable, and sessions are shaped around your readiness.

  • Sessions are offered online, allowing you to access support from your own space.
